Kervachi

The product of cross-breeding between Demons and Dragons, these highly magical creatures are both powerful and cruel.  Kervachi are the tacticians and strategists that carry out the will of their Lord.  While at first glance these may be mistaken for pit fiends, the Kervachi tend to be smaller, with more pronounced Dragon-like snouts, and typical coloring more similar to that of a Silver Dragon.

The organizational hierarchy, from lowest to highest, is:

There are three branches of the group; Martial (specializing in physical combat), Arcane (specializing in magic), and Soul (specializing in spreading the faith and mental subjugation).

While most Kervachi are descended from a Silver dragon lineage, there are also those descended from other lineages.  The following table lists the distribution of Kervachi by lineage, and corresponding breath attack.

The Kervachi hierarchy (from weakest to strongest) is:

  • Kervite WalkerThe smallest and weakest of the Kervachi, these are still very capable foes.  Their cruel and conniving nature combined with their physical and magical strength make even this bottom rung of the Kervachi hierarchy quite formidable.
  • Kervite Dark WalkerSlightly more powerful than the smaller Kervite Walkers, the Dark Walkers rely more on stealth and trickery to overcome their foes.
  • Kervite ShadowKervite Shadows and their slightly tougher brethren Kervite Shadow Sinisters are responsible for Wings of Kervite Walkers and Dark Walkers. They are bigger and faster than their subordinates, but are still eclipsed by the power of their masters, the Kervite Lords.
  • Kervite Shadow SinisterKervite Shadow Sinister and their slightly weaker brethren Kervite Shadows are responsible for Wings of Kervite Walkers and Dark Walkers. They are bigger and faster than their subordinates, but are still eclipsed by the power of their masters, the Kervite Lords.
  • Kervite LordKervite Lords are responsible for 3 to 5 Flights of subordinate Kervites. They also are impressively larger, faster and crueler than their smaller counterparts.
  • Kervite SummonerKervite Summoners are the enigmatic and mysterious generals of the Kervachi. Their impressive size and strength dwarfs even the Kervite Lord, but they avoid physical combat when possible, preferring to let their underlings get their hands dirty.
