The pale chitinous carapace of this cow-sized crustacean takes on the color and appearance of the environment in which it is found.  It's ten legs are highly adapted to digging, and its mandibles appear to be formidable weapons.

The Prismatic Delver is a subterranean extra-dimensional creature that is attracted to magical residues that remain behind after arcane spells are cast. The stronger the spell, the stronger the residue and the greater the attraction to the delvers.

These enigmatic creatures consume the residue, which then serves as a buffer against magical energy.
