Long Description
A chain formed of elaborately crafted golden ivy leaves holds a crystal sphere roughly the size of an eyeball. Within the crystal the tiny moving form of an animal on the hunt can be seen.
The animal within the sphere can be freed with the mental command of the locket wearer, and will work to further the aims of its wearer. Furthermore, the locket allows mental communication between the wearer and the animal companion, and grants the companion a 4 point Intelligence bonus.
The creature can be returned to the locket with a mental command. While in the sphere, the creature inhabits an alternate universe which is favorable to the creature.
Use of the locket is a free action, with no limitation on uses. The animal companion cannot act in the round in which it is freed from the locket.
