Range: Touch

Target: Creature touched

Duration: 1 round per 4 caster levels.

Spell Resistance: No

Merciless circulation is a torturous spell that causes the target's veins to burrow out of the skin, and drains their spell resistance through their blood. The initial impact of the spell is minor, but the effects grow dramatically with each round.  In round one the target loses one Spell Resistance and takes 2d6 damage.  Each consecutive round the amount of Spell Resistance lost increases by one, and the amount of damage doubles.  For example:

Round

SR Lost

Damage

1

1

2d6

2

2

4d6

3

3

8d6

So in the third round, the target will lose an additional 3 SR (for a total of 6) and an additional 8d6 damage (for a total of 14d6).

The visual effect is also increasingly gruesome each round, as the veins begin emerging from the skin, the blood leaking from them tainted with an oily black residue.

This spell requires a successful touch attach to hit.
